The Volunteers Unit supports Makassed’s vision of a community engaged in positive change and transformed by service. We aim at becoming a key player both locally and regionally. We believe that supportive Lebanese and Arab sustainable societies where volunteering is recognized and respected, is life-enhancing for the individual, and advances the common good.

We train Lebanese youth in general and the Makassed youth in particular to ensure their involvement in society. We advance volunteerism by strengthening leadership throughout the Arab countries to empower individuals in our community.
